Social Compass ©
Teach pro-social behaviors within a systematic format. Four components address the various aspects of appropriate social-sexual behavior — appropriate behaviors within public and private venues, manners, social skills and sexuality. Unlike other products that teach the anatomy of sexual development, this program includes instructional lessons, vignettes using DVDs to promote discussion of specific behavior, and independent activities and games to reinforce key concepts.
The program is divided into two segments to correspond with content appropriate for specific developmental levels. All materials fit easily into a zipped canvas bag.

  The Logo Reading System©
Using popular logos from fast food and department store chains, this system develops a sight-word vocabulary. Logos are faded in a way to preserve the words within the logo and eventually, after a gradual fading procedure, the student is able to identify basic word cards, rhyming words and phrases. Includes instructions, pre-tests, logo flash cards, sort cards, placemats, logo worksheets, writing sheets and phrase cards. $200

            Token Boards
Most people with Fragile X Syndrome demonstrate difficulty starting or executing a task. These boards help reduce behavioral episodes by providing an exact end to a task. Tokens are moved across the board as each step is accomplished, providing incentive to fill the board for a desired reward. Delaying reinforcement is also accomplished by expecting several responses before a token is moved. Boards come in a variety of schemes; to include school, cooking, sports, and gender-specific boards.$15 each
